Having taken a break from duties on Mille Plateau and Chain Reaction, Vladislav Delay reveals an altogether more human side to his electronic compositions. Structured around 4/4 house music beats, the lush and sublime production skills employed link this album much more to the early Maurizio productions on Main Street and the current new school producers from Cologne than his previously more experimental outings. Never losing touch of a man/machine soul vibe, some deftly placed female vocals rub shoulders with wonderfully deep chord structures to provide some much needed fresh air in this genre.
