Originally released way back in 1981 on black vinyl stuff, then issued later on CD (with the inclusion of the Future Shock EP), this work by the Gordons has long been considered a highlight of the considerable (and very worthy) Flying Nun catalogue. Unavailable for some time, we at Smokecds (along with Flying Nun) are pleased to be able to offer this groundbreaking CD once again. Brutally loud, sonically devastating, this is a sample of the original NME review "The Gordons drop every hint that they know a pop song or two, but refuse to play one....This is a jugganaut of a record . When you put it on not only will your lawn die, your Motorhead albums will shrivel in their sleeves, leaving only a sticky black gel ...(8/10)". If you like things loud, this is one of this countrys finest recorded moments, and absolutely essential. Recommended.
