Soundtrack to Anton Corbijn's stark Black & White biopic about the life of Ian Curtis – the tortured singer of Joy Division. Featuring a mixture of Joy Division's music, some older material by the likes of Iggy Pop, Bowie and the Velvets and most interestingly - new music recorded by New Order (formed by the remaining members of Joy Division after Curtis's suicide) especially for the film. Also of interest is a version of 'Transmission' performed – pretty convincingly- by the cast.
