A versatile singer/songwriter, Flip’s music is described as acoustic guitar-based repertoire bridging dirty indie-folk and delicate introverted lullabies. Her intimate live act and her recorded work alike have garnered wide critical acclaim.

Be All & End All is a brilliantly balanced album, with Flip’s polished songwriting taking centre stage, as she moves from gentle, tender ballads to raucous indie-folk and back, via quirky pop and just a touch of alt-country.

The album features a choir of 12 – including Anita Clarke (Ragamuffin Children) and Ben Edwards (Degrees K).

Be All & End All is released by Maiden Records – Flip’s own label, which she has been running for some years now.

Flip has performed with some of NZ’s premiere artists, including The Phoenix Foundation, Dave Dobbyn and Anika Moa; shared the stage with internationals like Ben Lee and The Shins, and performed at the renowned SxSW festival twice.

Her ‘06 album Cage For A Song, turned heads across the folk and alt-country scene – with a track from it selected by producers of the hit US TV show Brothers and Sisters for the emotional final episode of their first season!

In ‘07, Flip released The Cookbook Tour – a performance/travel journal and recipe book that sparked interest across NZ. This unconventional approach to a national tour was heralded by NZ media. At the end of the year Flip will embark on The Cookbook Tour Europe, taking the concept through six countries, playing shows and collecting recipes
