‘Ignore The Ignorant’ is the 4th album from UK outfit The Cribs. The Jarvis brothers (previously a 3-piece) are joined on this album by brand new member Johnny Marr (of Smiths fame). Johnny has been a fan for years, but has now become a full-time Crib, co-writing the songs and doing press with his new, young band mates.

Recorded in LA with celebrated producer Nick Launay (Arcade Fire, Nick Cave, Silverchair), ‘Ignore The Ignorant’ sees the band on the verge of a big crossover. The lead single “Cheat On Me” has found success on radio worldwide, and it is not only because of their famous new member, that the band is receiving more attention than ever. They recently graced the cover of the NME, received an ‘Album of the Month’ in Mojo, and had “Cheat On Me” featured as “The Hottest Record In The World” on Radio 1’s Zane Lowe show.
