Seeds, Liam Finn, Connan Mockasin, Lawrence Arabia & Riki Gooch (ex-Trinity Roots, Eru Dangerspiel).
He has released a 12" single, Mangi Mangi (playlisted on BBC1 by Gilles Peterson, on the new NZOA Iwi Hit Disc & with a
video in the works) and a critically acclaimed debut solo album, John Dryden, as Wild Bill Ricketts.
After involvement with the Red Bull Music Academy, Ricketts is gaining an underground reputation in Europe, with this new 7-track LP vinyl released in conjunction with a German company. Featuring 4 tracks written by Ricketts and 3 tracks by Mike Fabulous (The Black Seeds), 'Ricketts Meets Fabulous at Maitland Rd.' also features appearances from Mara TK (Electric Wire Hustle), Toby Laing (Freddys), Barnaby Weir (The Black Seeds), Julien Dyne (Opensouls), Riki Gooch (Eru Dangerspiel), Rio Hemopo (ex-Trinity Roots),
