On October 23rd, 2010 'Band Together :- Concert for Canterbury' took place at Hagley Park, Christchurch and drew a maximum crowd of up to an estimated 200,000 people. The free concert was successfully the biggest staged of its kind and raised $17.5 million for Canterbury earthquake victims.

This is an album of live recordings from the concert, with proceeds being donated to the New Zealand Red Cross Canterbury Earthquake Appeal.

The album features selected tracks from the star-studded Kiwi lineup such as: Dave Dobbyn, The Exponents, Che Fu & King Kapisi, Bic Runga, Dane Rumble, Anika Moa, The Feelers, Opshop and more!
